Viva Media acquires KQFX (FM) serving Amarillo
 
PRESS RELEASE

Viva Media has closed on its purchase of radio station, KQFX FM serving the Amarillo market from Tejas Broadcasting.  The buyer, Viva Media, is headed by Maria Cenicernos, CEO and has additional Texas broadcast interests.  The seller, Tejas Broadcasting is headed by Jim Anderson, CEO and has additional broadcast interests in Corpus Christi and Clovis, New Mexico.  The purchase price was $650,000.
 
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and George Reed of the Jacksonville office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive brokers for this transaction representing the seller.
