Brigham Young University has acquired KUMT (FM), Randolph, Utah, from Community Wireless of Park City, Inc.*

BYU had previously planned to shut down its longtime classical station KBYU (“Classical 89”), but that programming will now be moved to KUMT’s 89,000-watt channel on 107.9 MHz.

Also included in the transaction are four on-channel FM boosters located in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Bountiful, and Provo, Utah.
