My Town Media has closed on its purchase of radio stations KIND AM & FM and KBIK FM serving Independence, Kansas.  The buyer, MY Town Media is headed by William Wachter and has other radio interests in Kansas and Arkansas.  The seller is David Rhoads, Receiver for Tallgrass Broadcasting LLC which has other radio interests in Texas and New Mexico. The purchase price is $310,000.
