Educational Media Foundation has closed on the purchase of KXOR-FM licensed to Thibodaux, Louisiana from My Home Town Media, LLC.

The Buyer is headed by Mike Novak and owns a nationwide group of radio stations.  The Seller is headed by Jim Anderson and has additional broadcast interests in Texas and New Mexico. The purchase price was $525,000.

Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and George Reed of the Jacksonville office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive brokers representing the Seller in this transaction.
