The Hanszen Broadcast Group, Jerry Hanszen, President, has closed on its purchase of KMHT-AM/KZEY-FM, Marshall, TX, from Community Broadcast Group, Inc.

Jerry Hanszen also owns and operates KGAS-AM/FM, Carthage, TX. Mr. Hanszen serves on the NAB Radio Board of Directors.

Community Broadcast Group, Inc. is headed by Jerry Russell. The company also owns KZEY-AM, Tyler, TX, KDFY-AM, Gilmer, TX, and KWRD-AM, Henderson, TX.

Bill Whitley represented the seller in this transaction.
