Atlanta Catholic Radio, Inc. has acquired WCFO (AM) East Point (Atlanta), Georgia from JW Broadcasting, Inc., for a total purchase price of $750,000, subject to FCC approval.

WCFO is a 50 KW daytime directional signal at 1160 mHz.

Newly-formed Atlanta Catholic Radio, Inc. has no other broadcast interests. JW Broadcasting, headed by Joe Weber, also owns one other metro Atlanta signal, WMLB (AM), licensed to Avondale Estates.
