Another of Morgan Skinner’s former Legacy Communication stations has been sold.   Main Street Broadcasting, LLC, Ted Austin, managing partner has purchased* KPTO-AM, licensed to Pocatello, Idaho. KPTO-AM broadcasts on 1440 kHz with 2,500 watts days and 300 watts at night. It is currently silent.   Austin has owned several stations in southeastern Idaho. 

KPTO-AM is the third of Legacy’s stations to be sold by the court appointed receiver, Wayne Klein of Salt Lake City. Greg Merrill of Media Services Group, court appointed broker, said that the other stations sold includes KOGN-AM in Ogden, KENT-AM in Parowan, Utah, and now KPTO-AM.  The fourth station in the portfolio is KITT-FM in Soda Springs Idaho.   Merrill said, “This station is under contract and an assignment application will be filed with the FCC as soon as a rule making is completed.”
