Marketron, provider of business software solutions and services to the media industry, has purchased RadioTraffic, the traffic and billing system used by approximately 1,000 radio stations. The sale has closed.

Marketron is headed by Jeff Haley, CEO and President. RadioTraffic was founded and operated by Dave Scott. Mr. Scott previously founded and operated radio automation company Scott Studios, and before that was President of TM Century.

Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and Stephan Sloan of the Providence office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive brokers representing RadioTraffic in this transaction.
