The partners and associates of Media Services Group are saddened at the passing of our friend and colleague, Austin Walsh who died earlier today surrounded by his family.

Austin managed Media Services Group_s San Francisco North office. He had been involved in the Broadcast industry since 1970 when he commenced his career with Major Market Radio in New York City. His extensive experience in broadcast management included positions at Sounderling Broadcasting in Washington D.C., Golden West Broadcasting in San Francisco, and RKO General in Boston. Prior to joining Media Services Group, Austin served as Executive Vice President and Western Divisional Manager for Interep Radio.  He had been active in industry groups throughout Washington, Oregon, and California for the past two decades.

He is survived by his wife, Anna, son Austin, daughters Jennifer and Larissa, and  four grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass in remembrance of Austin will be held at St. Hilary Church, in Tiburon, CA on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at ll:30 A.M. (www.sthilary.org), with a reception to celebrate his life immediately following.
