Mel Wheeler, Inc. has closed on its acquisition of WKCJ-FM, licensed to Elliston-Lafayette, Virginia from Radio Greenbrier LLC.  The buyer, Mel Wheeler, Inc., has both radio and television interests in Virginia, Missouri and Illinois and is headed by Leonard Wheeler. The seller, Radio Greenbrier, LLC is headed by Todd and Jon Robinson and has other radio interests in Virginia and West Virginia.  The purchase price is $675,000.
