Simmons Media Group, Inc., has closed on its purchase of radio stations KFTZ-FM and KOSZ-FM, Idaho Falls, ID, and the stock of Western Communications, licensee of radio stations KLCE-FM, KCVI-FM, KECN-AM, Blackfoot, ID, and KICN-AM, Idaho Falls, ID, from Marathon Media for $13.0 million cash.

KLCE-FM at 97.3 KCVI at 101.5, KFTZ at 103.3 and KOSZ-FM at 105.5 are all Class C FM stations that cover the Idaho Falls-Blackfoot-Pocatello market. The AM stations include KECN that operates at 690, KBLI at 1620 and KICN at 1260 with an expanded band CP.
