John Beck joined Media Services Group in 2026 after leading his own consulting firm, John Beck Media Strategies.

John recently completed four years as Area President for iHeartMedia in St. Louis and Indianapolis. Before joining iHeart, he spent 36 years with Emmis Communications, where he served as Senior Vice President and oversaw multiple stations, including St. Louis heritage rock station KSHE-95. Earlier in his career, he managed stations in Kansas City and worked with CBS in Detroit at its company-owned radio rep firm. John began his career at WFFM in Pittsburgh and studied political science and psychology at the University of Steubenville in Ohio.

Throughout his career, John has received numerous honors, including being named one of America’s Top 10 Radio Managers by Radio Ink and receiving the Missouri Broadcasters Association’s Distinguished Broadcaster Award in 2002. He also was named Radio Wayne Award Market Manager of the Year by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).
