Sun Valley Radio has agreed to purchase the assets of KGNT-FM, Smithfield, Utah from Legacy Communications for $775,000.*

KGNT-FM is licensed to Smithfield, Utah immediately north of Logan, Utah where Sun Valley Radio owns a cluster of radio stations. KGNT-FM operates as a class A programming country music and serves Cache Valley area of Utah and Idaho.

Legacy Communications is headquartered out of St. George, Utah and headed by Morgan Skinner. Sun Valley Radio is headed by Kent Frandsen of Logan, Utah. Legacy Communications is also selling their other radio interest in northern Utah, KNFL-FM licensed to Tremonton, Utah, KNFL-FM is being purchased by 3 Point Media Utah, LLC.
