Viking Communications Acquires KKYD-FM from Three Points Media
Jerry Zimmer, President of Viking Communications, announced the filing with the FCC of an asset purchase of Topeka radio station KKYD-FM (licensed to Osage City) from Three Points Media Kansas, LLC.* Viking Communications also operates stations KLZR-FM and KLWN-AM in Lawrence. Ron Covert is Chief Operating Officer and will also handle duties of Market Manager over the
KKYD-FM, known as WILD 92.9, plays Contemporary Hits and is top rated among young adults in
